Home Games lets you set up your very own private poker club within the PokerStars online system and it's available in both play and real money. While it is true that we’ve always been able to set up private tournaments, the functionality of Home Games takes it to a whole new level.
You’ll be able to name your poker club, invite who you want and spread the games you enjoy playing the most. Read on for a look inside Home Games and a step-by-step guide on how to set things up.
Create Your Poker Club
The first thing you need to do is create a Poker Club. Click the Home Games tab in the main PokerStars lobby and click “Create a Poker Club”.
After figuring out your ironically funny club name you're ready to start customizing it by choosing the games.
Choose the Games Your Club Spreads
Creating the games that will be available to your members is one of the core parts of Home Games' functionality.
Use the screen below to create and manage cash tables and tournaments. Everything's customizable so you'll be able to tailor your lobby to the tastes of your members.
The options you've got are pretty extensive.
Choose games, stakes, times and tournament formats in the Create Table/Tournament tools, shown below.
Manage Your Club Membership
Once you've got your games lobby up to speed it's time to invite your friends to join your online poker club. Go to the "Manage Club" tab and get started.
Set your Invitation Code. This is the code you can send to your friends. They'll use it to request membership in your club.
This area is also where you can change the options for your club, things like your club colors and image.
Track Your League Standings
What good would a private poker club be if it didn't involve bragging rights? Use the built in results and stats tracking tools to see keep track of long term stats and results.
It's like they say, if you can't spot the mark in your first five minutes of looking at the integrated Home Games stats tracking software ...
